Its natural habitat is Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation. == Description == The western thornbill generally measures around 8-10cm in length, with a weight of 6-8 grams. It has a grayish-brown cap and back, a creamy pale underbelly and a generally more brownish tint compared to other similar thornbills.
