Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest. == Behavior and Ecology == Lesser necklaced laughingthrushes may be mimics of Greater necklaced laughingthrushes, the latter of which are dominant in mixed-species flocks.
