Se distribuye por las selvas tropicales de la cuenca amazónica, del norte de Sudamérica y de Centroamérica, más concretamente en Bolivia, Brasil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panamá y el Perú.
