Photo © Anthony Batista — CC BY 4.0 — Source: iNaturalist photo #271165305El cotinga quérula (Querula purpurata), también denominado quérula gorgimorada (en Costa Rica y Panamá), frutero negro o cuaba (en Colombia), frutero gorgirrojo (en Nicaragua), cuervo-higuero de gorguera (en Ecuador), cuervo-frutero de garganta púrpura (en Perú) o pájaro toro (en Venezuela), es una especie de ave paseriforme de la familia Cotingidae, la única perteneciente al género monotípico Querula. Es nativa de América Central y del Sur.
