Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Entebbe – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional guide and begin your scenic journey to Lake Mburo National Park. Enjoy beautiful countryside views, local communities, and rolling landscapes along the way with a stop at the Equator for photography and refreshments. Upon arrival at the park, you will embark on an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo where you may spot hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species including the African Fish Eagle and Malachite Kingfisher. Later, proceed to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and evening optional Batwa Cultural Experience.

After an early breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Accompanied by experienced ranger guides, you will hike through the dense rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family while enjoying sightings of birds and other forest wildlife along the way. Once the gorillas are located, you will spend one magical hour observing and photographing them in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the evening, you may opt for a Batwa cultural experience at an extra cost where you will interact with the indigenous Batwa community and learn about their traditional forest lifestyle, music, dance, and cultural heritage before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer back to Entebbe for evening flight.

After breakfast, you will begin your scenic journey back to Entebbe, enjoying beautiful countryside views, local communities, and a stop at the Equator for photography and refreshments along the way. Later, proceed to Entebbe International Airport for your evening departure flight, marking the end of your unforgettable Uganda safari experience.
