Day 1: Start from Airport (before 2pm) or be picked from a hotel. Transfer to Lake Mburo NP.
- The pick-up will be from either; the Hotel or from the Entebbe Airport upon arrival. The assigned Professional English-speaking Tour Driver-guide will pick/receive you and hit the road to Lake Mburo National Park. Mburo is a compact gem, located conveniently close to the highway that connects Entebbe/Kampala to the parks of western Uganda. It is the smallest of Uganda’s savannah National Parks but home to 350 bird species as well as animals such as: Giraffes, Zebra, impala, eland, buffalo, Defassa waterbuck, hippo, and the elusive leopard among others. On arrival, we shall check in and if we still have some time available, we can proceed for a late afternoon-to-evening game drive. Otherwise, we shall check in and have the evening at leisure – relaxing.
- Accommodation: Hyena Hill Lodge

Day 2: Morning game drive and then, transfer to accommodation in Bwindi.
- Enjoy your breakfast as early as possible then proceed for an exciting morning game drive in the park. Expect to see the gigantic eland antelope, zebras in big numbers, topi, impalas, Buffaloes and other savannah animals. Alternatively, you may choose the morning bush/park walk (at extra cost USD 25 pp) in the presence of an armed ranger-guide. You will return to your accommodation then check out and proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable NP.
- Bwindi is a big habitat for mountain gorillas in Uganda (harboring over 300 mountain gorillas- roughly half of the world’s population), including several habituated groups, which can be trekked. With a strenuous day ahead, you will do less on arrival but just check in your accommodation, relax as you prepare for the Bwindi gorilla trekking experience the next morning.
- Overnight: Gorilla Mist Camp
3
Day 3: Gorilla trekking Bwindi and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation.
- Have breakfast, pick up the lunch box and move to the rangers’ post. You will receive some briefing (from the Park Authority) on the dos and don’ts during gorilla trekking, including assigning participants to a group. The actual trek into the forest begins at 8am in the company of your ranger-guide(s) and other participants assigned. The high altitude here combined with steep, rugged (sometimes muddy) terrain makes gorilla trekking physically demanding but rewarding. One moment you’re descending, and the next, you are ascending to a higher elevation. The time taken (3-8 hours) vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you have located a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle but endangered giants is unforgettable. At the end of the trek, you will be awarded a certificate of completion that you can keep as a reminder of this lifetime experience. Return, board the car and embark on transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. The lake is framed by lush, green-terraced hills that reach a height of (2,200 – 2,478m) but it’s the 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water that make it most magical-you could admire them all day.
- Overnight: Bunyonyi Eco Resort
4
Day 4: Depart Bunyonyi and return to Entebbe to catch flight out (18:00 onward).
- You will have a relaxed breakfast with spectacular view of the Bunyonyi little islands just right in front of you. Thank you for choosing and travelling with us (Binary Safari Adventures). #Optional (extra cost): If having a late-night flight, you may consider a canoe trek on Bunyonyi before departing for Entebbe.
