Hides del Tiétar
At Hides del Tiétar you don't just come to see wildlife. You come to take photographs that are truly worth it. Every hide works with a clear goal: to maximise real photographic opportunities, always within the limits of wild nature. What matters isn't just doing the session, but leaving with results and the feeling that you made the most of your time.
This means:
-Perches selected with a photographer's eye
-Clean backgrounds free of distractions
-Prior work with each species over weeks or months
-It's not about seeing animals, but about creating the conditions to photograph them well.
We work in a dehesa and riverside environment in the Tiétar valley, with a high diversity of species. New options are continually added based on real results.
These are wild animals. Their appearance cannot be guaranteed 100%. Nor can the moment or the number of visits. What can be guaranteed is work, judgement and honesty in the management of each hide.
Repeat policy:
If a species doesn't come in during the session: you can repeat once at no extra cost. If it fails again, you don't pay again. In the case of the lynx, there are specific conditions explained in its corresponding hide.
Rules during the session:
-You cannot leave the hide during the session
-Silence must be maintained
-The use of lights or flash is not permitted
-Discreet clothing is recommended
-Following these rules is key to the success of the activity.
This type of photography is aimed at:
-Photographers looking for quality, not just observation
-People with patience and respect for the environment
-Those interested in wildlife photography in real conditions
-The experience is enjoyed much more when you start from this mindset.
