Target Species
Discover a unique experience in Spain: photographing the Western Barn Owl in its natural habitat with professional lighting. This night hide is possibly the only Western Barn Owl hide in all of Spain, offering an exclusive opportunity to capture stunning, natural images of this majestic species.
In addition to standard sessions where we photograph owls using flashes and continuous light—allowing you to focus and freeze the subject with precision—there is also the possibility of attempting light-trail photography, an advanced technique that delivers a spectacular and unique visual result.
This type of image requires very careful technical preparation. It is not simply a matter of setting up a barrier and waiting for the moment: to achieve a properly defined light trail, you need a barrier equipped with multiple sensors, combined with continuous light (which creates the motion trail) and synchronized flashes that freeze the owl at the exact point of action.
Due to its complexity, these sessions require the presence of someone with extensive technical knowledge of this type of photography. It is essential to know how to adjust your camera, synchronize the flashes, configure the barrier, and understand the optimal conditions for everything to work with precision. Without that experience and coordination, light-trail photography simply would not be possible.
The session can be repeated free of charge within two months if the Western Barn Owl does not appear; after that period, any new session will be charged at the standard rate.
