We've created a new package for those who want to experience Zimanga's photography in a shorter trip at a more accessible price. It's 4 nights at Zimanga, making the most of your stay and combining photography hides, safaris and an experience at the Umgodi overnight hide.

Zimanga is specially designed for wildlife photography. During your stay we'll combine sessions from hides built specifically for photography with photo safaris within the reserve. The goal is to make intensive use of the four nights available, with photography activities in the morning and afternoon according to Zimanga's schedule.

PHOTOGRAPHY HIDES

Zimanga's hides let you capture perspectives and photographs that are difficult to achieve from a vehicle, working at ground level with facilities designed for wildlife photography. The specific schedule of hides and safaris will depend on the reserve's own organisation, conditions and daily planning.

UMGODI OVERNIGHT HIDE

One night photographing at water level. The programme includes a night-time experience at Umgodi Overnight Hide, one of the highlights of the trip. You'll spend the night in the hide, with the chance to photograph wildlife as it comes to the watering point. Animal behaviour and presence always depend on nature.

DOORNHOEK HOMESTEAD

Doornhoek Homestead will be your group's private accommodation for the four nights at Zimanga. The stay includes full board and drinks provided by the reserve.
