Photo © Anthony Batista — CC BY 4.0 — Source: iNaturalist #264407769La reinita atigrada (en Colombia, Venezuela y Nicaragua) (Setophaga tigrina) también denominada chipe tigrino, chipe atigrado o chipe tigre (en México), bijirita atigrada (en Cuba), cigüita tigrina (en República Dominicana), reinita tigre (en Puerto Rico) o reinita tigrina (en Costa Rica y Panamá), es una especie de ave paseriforme de la familia Parulidae perteneciente al numeroso género Setophaga. Es un ave migratoria que anida en el norte de América del Norte y pasa el invierno en el extremo sur de México, América Central y en las Antillas Mayores.
