Trip Itinerary
1
Step 1
- Once you make your reservation, we will contact you to confirm the date, time and your objective (getting to know the area, target species, photography, birdwatching, etc.)
- We will then send you the location of the meeting point: Los Pinos Restaurant Car Park (Sierra Andújar).
2
Step 2
- We begin our route as agreed. From the start, our guide will interpret it taking into account not only fauna and flora, but also the socio-cultural and ecosystem management aspects of the areas we traverse. We also invite our clients to clear any doubts by asking questions.
- During our journey you may observe a large number of species (Western Red Deer, Common Fallow Deer, European Mouflon, Little Owls, etc.). We will advance in search of the best observation areas where we will wait with quality optical equipment.
- On full-day trips we will find the most suitable place for lunch.
- The route is not circular, so half an hour before the scheduled time we will begin the return to the pickup point.

Iberian Lynx Sighting
- Once we reach the point on the route that our guide considers most favourable for locating the lynx, we give a brief explanation of how to behave in case of sighting and begin the search.
- We have suitable optical equipment to observe wildlife at great distances.
- During the waiting time, which is always subject to change, we will see other wildlife species, such as the Iberian Imperial Eagle or the Black Vulture. At the guide's discretion, short walks on foot through the area may be undertaken.
- Each day is an adventure, so there is no set formula or fixed schedule. Waiting periods will be combined with visits to other interesting areas.
4
Other Points of Interest
- We drive to the area overlooking the Jándula reservoir and river.
- Just a few minutes on foot away is the ruined settlement where dam construction workers lived.
- Also, Spanish Ibex are usually easily spotted on these hillsides.
- Depending on the day, we venture to the reservoir itself. One of the access tunnels is inhabited by entire families of bats.
5
Secondary Activity
- If time permits, we can head to some of the best viewpoints in Sierra Andújar and enjoy the facilities of the Natural Park.
Venture into the Sierra de Andújar and discover its landscapes with a specialist in natural heritage who will help you optimize sightings of the Iberian Lynx while you enjoy observing other species and the spectacular scenery of the area.
Explore the mountain regions that provided refuge to the last Iberian Lynx, the protagonists of their recovery. Enjoy the rich biodiversity of this Sierra Morena enclave, which is home to some of Europe's most representative taxa. Our guides ensure your experience is enriching and that you learn, observe and enjoy.
We travel in our vehicles to strategic points to optimize wildlife sightings. We can also make short walks on foot for observations from locations with broad visibility and maintaining prudent distances from target species.
We are completely flexible with the pace of your visit and waiting times, suggesting other interesting areas if you wish. The experience adapts to you. Our mission is to guide you and recommend the best options for each situation based on our experience.
