Arteaganature Hides
Arteaga Nature was born from my passion for the Sierra de Gredos and the wildlife I've been sharing field hours with for years. We're located near El Barco de Ávila, in a mountain landscape that changes with the seasons and offers countless opportunities to enjoy and photograph nature.
In our hides you can observe and photograph wildlife in their natural state, with the golden eagle as the main attraction. We're also visited by goshawks, kites, vultures and foxes. Every day is different: we might witness flights, interactions between species, or quiet moments that let you appreciate each animal's details.
What makes this place special is the knowledge we've built up about the environment and the animals that frequent it. Understanding their habits helps us prepare sessions and guide you to make the most of photography opportunities, whether you're just starting out or have experience.
The hides let you stay hidden and observe in peace, always with respect for the wildlife. Here encounters have no script: the waiting is part of the experience, and seeing an golden eagle appear among Gredos' colors is something you won't easily forget.
