Los Alcornocales Natural Park
Los Alcornocales Natural Park offers excellent opportunities to observe a wide variety of wildlife, including roe deer, red deer, wild boar, foxes, otters, genets and numerous species of birds of prey. The park is also known for its rich Mediterranean vegetation, cork oak forests, rivers and humid “canutos”.
Wildlife can be observed throughout the year, but spring and autumn are particularly rewarding. Spring brings abundant vegetation, birds and increased wildlife activity, while autumn is an excellent season for observing deer during the rut and for bird migration. Early mornings and late afternoons are generally the best times for wildlife observation and photography.
